During Tet, I decided to go to Con Dao with my friend, always wanted to go for the Nicobar Pigeon but had no chance till that holiday.
Thi and I went to the airport early enough and did the check in. After 1 hour waiting, still no sign of gate opening. Another half an hour, we got on the plane, but it could not land due to bad weather so we had to return to HCM airport. So sad because we were so excited before
I tried to change the ticket for the earliest flight next day, still worried that the weather would be still bad the.
We got up even earlier that morning, got in a taxi, I din't realize that I forgot my phone at home till we arrived at the airport and we had to return to my house to get it. My friend said, that was a bad sign so maybe the flight would be returned again.
Got back to the airport just enough time to do the check - in. Flight was delayed for 3 hours and finally we got on the plane again. Our hearts stopped beating while the plane was circling around Con Dao airport for 15 minutes. Everyone was so quiet till the plane landed finally. I have never been on any quiet flight like that one.
Here are some photos from Con Dao, still great fun even we did not see our target bird, and I will return to that island.

Wonderful moment sitting on a small boat on the way to a small islet, just enjoy the breeze from the sea and beautiful scenery, always love the moment like that |

We were bored sometimes, yes |

Waiting for the sunset there, Thi said we should have bought some beer, perfect place for sundowner, and I agreed, next time :) |

Wish I could lie there forever |

great pictures Ha,
I hope one day to go to Con Dao Island also, so many things to discover I think, and not only `good` birds!
Cheers,
Sebastien
Thanks Sebastien! Yes, so many nice things to discover there, if you do plan, go there from the end of May to August, more chance to see the Nicobar Pigeon.
Cheers
