Bohol-Philippines 2012, part 2
So far, I have quite good impress with this place, friendly people and cheap public transportation. So far, I always pay the same price like local people, maybe because I do look like a Filipina?
Because of the typhoon, I got stuck in Bohol for 2 days, actually one and a half day. Was thinking of going back to Panglau for the beach, but on my own, it will be expensive and kind of boring, I am not a type of person who can lie on a beach more than a day. So I decided to take this chance to discover the town and other history.
Taglibaran, in my eyes, is an old town with many old wooden houses and small simple shops. Follow the instructions of my friend, Des, I took a ride in a colorful jeepney to Loboc to visit the Clarin Ancestral House, quite nice actually, I had lunch there, in the garden, so peaceful.
Then still some time left, I visited Kain-git beach, but not much to see, just a few restaurants next to the beach so you can eat and enjoy the view, I don't think you can even swim there.
Back to town, I ask the tricycle driver (who is quite nice and polite) to give me a ride around town, so he showed me the very old Church and the museum, I am not a fan of museum so I spent there only 5 minutes, just for some photos, it is a small museum anyway.
I really enjoyed being here and thinking of coming back soon for another experience, so many things to discover :)

At buzz cafe, which belongs to Bee Farm, look at all the breads and spreads and honey, yum! |
The best food in this trip for me, organic salad with fish, sooooooo goood! |
A very old church in town |
Yes, I visited the museum hehe |
And I saw the frogmouth there |
Tricycle, a very popular mean of transportation there, it is a little bit like side-car, but more complicated because there is roof and light. |

Bohol, Philippines-2012
Ruth, one of my Filipina friends invited me to join her birding trip in Bohol so I was glad to take the chance to visit this country, my first time ever in the Philippines. Saw so many nice birds, 18 lifers, meet more and make more friends, so happy and can't wait to come back for another adventure.
Here are some pictures taken during my birding trip in Bohol, a beautiful island to visit :)
